E la nave va
A ship drawn in section. What weighs on a life is stowed below the waterline; what sustains it floats above. The waterline rises and falls with anonymous contributions and with the currents that move the whole fleet at once: economic crises, pandemics, wars, climate.
On the hull sits a Plimsoll line, the safe-load mark that British law made compulsory in 1876. Political decisions are not the sea: they are the rule that sets how much load is safe. The interactive fleet shows six ships (school, work, family, leisure, relationships, digital access), live statistics by age, situation and disability, and two scenarios for 2040. All data in the prototype are invented.
